I was sad to hear this week that he passed away suddenly.<br /><br />From the Center's site:<br /><blockquote><p>With a heavy heart we are saddened to announce the sudden passing away on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 of Revered Swami Adiswarananda, the beloved minister and spiritual leader of the Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Center of New York. Swami experienced a very severe hemorrhage (bleeding) in the brain on Monday, October 29, 2007 that proved fatal.
